Quantity Surveyor required in January to be split between our client`s office in Wexford and also at sites in Kildare / Dublin areas. (Probably 3/4 days in Wexford office. Quantity Surveyor. Our client, due to continued growth now seek to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. They have multiple residential projects running concurrently and are looking to grow their team accordingly. The role will be predominantly based in the HQ`s in Wexford with visits to sites in Kildare and Dublin as required. Role Description: Reporting to the senior QS, the successful candidate will be compiling BOQs, subcontractor invoices, predominantly just for the civils contractors. Project procurement including issuing tender packages, preparation of tender reports and appointments in line with construction program. Estimating of budgets and Builds of Quantities. Cost Management of multiple projects. Measurement of sub-contractors work on site. Monitoring of project costs and agreeing variations with Contracts Manager. Desired Skills & Qualifications: Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. 2-5 years` experience working as a Quantity Surveyor with main contractor. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project, AUTO CAD a distinct advantage.
