Job Title: Performance Specialist. Reports to: Themis Systems & Performance Manager. Department: Systems & Performance. Location: Wexford. Purpose & Scope. Performance Management is a process by which organisations align their resources, systems and employees to strategic objectives and priorities. It refers to the activities, tools, processes and programs that are used to improve the performance of the business. The purpose of this role is to support the Themis Systems and Performance Manager in the implementation of factory performance improvements (Factory Strategic Plan) through Company and other Continuous Improvement and Lean Initiatives. The post-holder will support the management and coordination of site-wide efforts to ensure that performance management (PM) and quality improvement (QI) programs are developed and managed using a data-driven focus that sets priorities for improvements aligned to our ongoing strategic imperatives. You will support the Themis Systems & Performance Manager develop and communicate the vision, scope and mission of the Systems & Performance Office. As Performance Specialist you will also ensure that site-wide PM/QI initiatives are focused and aligned on improving operational efficiencies, planning initiatives, policy development; and training programs that focus on enabling our workforce to achieve PM/QI improvements through a positive and pro-active Culture. Core Responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Define, Review and analyse KPI metrics for Operations and define action improvement plans to improve performance. Ensure that Cultural Change is monitored and reviewed so that appropriate interventions can be made within a reasonable timeframe and is aligned to Company Core Values. Training and mentoring in tools and techniques to enable problem solving across all levels of the organization. Embody the principles and philosophies of the Organisation. Promoting new ways of working in order to create an environment that develops a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and learning at all levels within the site. Lead and execute technical process improvement projectse.g. time reduction, waste elimination. Complete complex data analysis to improve process capability. Benchmark industry best practice and make recommendations for improvement. Ensure resolution of and/or appropriate escalation of issues. ** please note this list is not exhaustive and the incumbent will be required to have the flexibility, tenacity and professionalism to address any other issues / ad hoc requests as they arise … Qualifications: Third Level Qualification – Essential – Performance Mgt/Change Mgt/ C.I. Leaving Certificate – Leaving Certificate minimum requirement. Accreditations – Accreditation associated with Performance Improvement. Experience: Proven experience in training/coaching staff. Strong analytical/statistical problem solving ability, with broad business knowledge and the ability to link customer needs with business processes.
