QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER. The Quality Assurance Manager will manage the site’s QA Team and develop personnel to maintain and improve team performance in line with company requirements. The role will report into the Site Quality Manager. Key Responsibilities include: • Management of quality processes within the production facility ensuring compliance and adherence to customer and industry specifications, legislation and working standards. • Quality in Plant, Processes & Projects. • Quality Skills and Attitudes in all Plant Teams. • Facilitate Continuous Improvement. • Analyse & report on Quality Performance Metrics. • Build sustainability through people. • Project Design & Delivery. Essential Criteria: • Relevant Third Level Qualification (Degree or Higher) in a Food Science or related discipline. • A proven track record of progressively responsible experience of managing a Quality team in a fast paced, high tech and high volume environment for a minimum of 7 – 10 years. • Experience in standardisation of processes and Lean Methodologies. • Proficient in the use of MS Office tools. • Proficient in numerical ability to record, interpret and analyse key process data. • Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
