Would you like to work for a, a rapidly growing energy services firm? Our client, a leading Wicklow based company currently has a vacancy for an Instrumentation Engineer. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join a rapidly growing energy services firm. You will have the opportunity to execute projects in a fast paced, multi-disciplined, cross-functional team environment. THE ROLE Detailed design and development of the EMS solution to meet customer requirements. Network design, meter selection, liaise with electrical subcontractors and suppliers. Identify all sources of useful data on a site with systems integration possibilities (SCADAs, PLCs, BMSs etc.) Produce relevant drawings, schedules and documentation. Installation and Commissioning. THE PERSON Display a strong background in electrical engineering, ideally with a degree or apprenticeship in Electrical / electronic Software Engineering. Understanding of energy consumption in industrial environments. Understanding of LANs, IP addressing, network equipment and wireless technology. Knowledge of communication protocols used for device and systems integration in the field of energy management and IoT. Some data analysis experience is desirable.
