Technical Manager/Qualified Accountant. Our client, a progressive and expanding corporate consultancy based in Co. Wexford, now seek to recruit a Technical Manager/Qualified Accountant. The successful candidate: Will be Responsible for: • Working with the team in the provision of support services in the areas of auditing & financial reporting to accountants. • Developing resources, tools & templates to support accountants serve their clients. • Creating new products and services that will make accountants lives easier. Their Main Duties & Responsibilities are: • Providing internal and external support services in the areas of auditing and financial reporting. • Managing the query desk. • Liaising with accountants to identify their wants and needs and to develop creative and practical solutions. • Developing of templates, tools, helpsheets & resources. • Assisting with the preparation of articles and helpsheets for publications. They will have the following Personal Attributes: • Technically competent in the areas of auditing and financial reporting. • Ability to research technical queries and come up with practical answers. • Capable of providing practical solutions to address the real-life challenges facing accountants. • Have a desire to learn and acquire new knowledge. • Ability to blend creativity with attention to detail. • Outstanding communication skills. • Interested in being different in their role as an accountant, while gaining unique experience as an advisor to the accountancy profession in their role as trusted advisors. • Want something different from your career as an accountant. They will have the following Qualifications: • Professional Accounting Qualification. • While not a requirement a qualification in any one of the following areas would prove desirable. • Financial Reporting. • Company Law. • Taxation. Their Experience will include: • Top 20 Audit Experience. • Minimum of 3 Years PQE. • Experience of Large & SME Auditing. Their Role Location will be: • Based in Wexford.
