What you need to know. You will work as a Senior Fund Accountant for a leading financial services company in Wexford. You will be working for an innovative investment bank offering asset management and wealth management, asset servicing, issuer and treasury services and broker-dealer & advisory services to clients around the world. As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will work in an environment that is driven by teamwork, trust and expertise where people operate with the highest standard of integrity and openness, providing a high standard of customer service to clients . This is a 6 month contract role. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Timely and accurate preparation of daily net asset values (NAVs) for a number of complex funds investing in a wide variety of instrument types. Ensure NAV’s are issued to all relevant parties in accordance with reporting requirements. Ensure all cash and holdings reconciliations are completed in accordance with agreed timetables and procedures. Liaise with custodians to resolve any reconciliation issues. Prepare fee schedules on a timely basis. Liaise with investment managers and clients on a regular basis to ensure queries and issues are resolved as soon as possible. What are we looking for? Previous experience in the funds industry, ideally in fund accounting. Experience of identifying and querying Cash & Asset reconciliation items. Proven track record of working to tight deadlines. Knowledge of Performance Fees. Knowledge of Complex Instruments. Excellent knowledge of Excel. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable: Third level qualification in business related discipline. Experience of Advent/Geneva/NTAS.
