The Role Provide leadership, management and administration oversite to production, quality, maintenance/engineering and supply chain. Coordinate, communicate and monitor the production plan ensuring objectives are met in an efficient manner. Follow environmental, health and safety regulations, FDA cGMP regulations, ISO13485 requirements, SOP’s and company policies/procedures. Eliminate waste in the overall supply chain from start to finish. Drive continuous improvement using problem solving with the inclusion of employees. Recommend and implement changes regarding production capability, tooling, machine replacement and staffing to support production plans and cost-effective procedures, systems, tooling, equipment, etc., to continually improve manufacturing productivity. Support new product development efforts and implementation. Provide leadership for all assigned manufacturing operations to meet established business objectives, i.e. customer service levels, cycle times, cost control, quality standards, inventory levels, etc. Provide coaching, information, ideas, feedback and encouragement to employees to promote the growth and development of the value stream team. The Person Strong communication and people management skills. Strong ability to prioritise work. Strong knowledge of all support functions including quality, engineering, supply chain, HR, finance etc. Excellent IT skills with previous experience with ERP/MRP required and Oracle, SAP or JDE preferred. 3rd Level Degree in Business, Operations, Administration or Engineering.
