Winthrop Engineering is seeking a Junior/Graduate,Site Health Safety and Environment Officer to support our projects in the South East. The Junior / Graduate Site Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Officer will; Work in conjunction with our Client and Winthrop HSE Manager to ensure that the Project(s) is compliant with Health , Safety and Environment regulations. Conduct HSE audits/ investigations as required and implement corrective and preventative measures. Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments. Plan and deliver training, including ‘Tool Box Talks’ as appropriate. Advise Project Management on site HSE‘best practice’. Report HSE performance as required. The ideal candidate will have; A recognised qualification in , Health and Safety (Environment would be an advantage but not necessary. Some experience of working in the construction sector particularly in a high compliance environment, ideally in the Pharma, Med Tech or Food sectors. Proven ability to develop positive working relationships with project stakeholders. A proactive, customer focused approach. Current Safepass and manual Handling Training.
