Hartley People have more than doubled our recruitment team in the past 24 months - we now have more live client requirements than at any time in our 15 year history! We are now recruiting for a Business Manager for the Contingency (temporary) Staffing division of our business. The Role. - Manage the expansion of the temporary staffing / contingency workforce division of the business. - Fulfillment of temporary staffing requirements from clients. - Developing proposals and price quotations for clients. - Managing higher volume recruitment campaigns for a range of customers, incl. the management of a team of Contingency Rectuitment Specialists who assist on key projects. - Business Development and growing the business in a profitable and sustainable manner. - Sourcing and screening candidates that represent the company in a professional manner. - Reconaissance on the market place and generating leads that can assist in the expansion plan for the contingency workforce division. - Become an expert in certain aspects of the industry incl. employment law and salary benchmarking etc (training will be provided where neccessary. The Person. - 3rd level qualifications would be preferred, ideally degree but possibly a Diploma in a relevant discipline e.g. Business Studies. - Excellent people and relationship skills - this is a must! - Previous experience in recruitment is a plus. Alternatively, a background in consultative sales or high end customer service would be desirable. - Strong IT user skills are essential (full M/S office suite. - Initiative. Creativity. Drive. 'Can do' attitude...someone who gets things done. - Energy. ...and lots of it!! - A strong technical background in IT would be an advantage, though not a pre-requisite. This is a fast paced and dynamic team based environment that requires people to get things done, think of their feet and work really well with other like minded people.
